BHF - London to Brighton Bike Ride · 19 June 2011 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This was always supposed to be a bit of a giggle........and then it got silly.

This is how the conversation went.

"You're resonably fit. How do you fancy doing London to Brighton Bike ride?"

"Yes, tell me more"

"There's 10 of us going to do it"

"Yes...."

"In a team...we've got a team place"

"OK, I'm in"

"On Raleigh Choppers"

"Oh........."

This is the route

I mean, who would have thought that 10 people could all get together with original 1970's Raleigh Choppers and ride from London to Brighton. Insane!!

Especially when you realise that one of the team-members had a heart attack last year. Yes, a heart attack.

So, it seems fitting that the charity we have chosen to support is The British Heart Foundation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
