Samaritans is available 24 hours a day to provide confidential, non-judgmental, emotional support to anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide. The Sheffield branch receives over 30,000 calls a year - by phone, e-mail or visit - and is entirely reliant on voluntary support

Story

I'm walking the full 268 miles from southern Scotland to Edale over a period of 2 1/2 weeks from 17/09/19.

I will be wild camping, bunk barning and b&bing my way through the 20 mile a day wander.

I wanted to chase my next true achievement in my life, so why not do it for a cause that resonates with me.

I want to be able to reduce Stigma toward Mental Health, being a long time sufferer I would never want anyone to feel the same.

Unfortunately everyone suffers from one degree to another at somepoint in their lives, I want people to know they aren't alone.

There's always good out there, you just need to know where to look.

For those who want to do a feature days walk, get intouch.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy the blog that will be following at the time.

Peace.
