In memory of Rhona Macfarlane
In 1921, over nine million poppies were created and sold on 11 November. Today, over five million Scottish poppies are still made by hand by disabled ex-Servicemen & ex-Servicewomen at Lady Haig's Poppy Factory each year distributed by Poppyscotland.

Story

On the 23rd December 2019, Rhona, a very much loved member of our family was tragically taken from us. She is sorely missed not only by all her family but in the community as well. Poppy Scotland was a Charity close to Rhona’s heart and every November for over 30 years she would happily go round the village with her collection tin and she became affectionately known as The Poppy Lady. With that in mind and the poppy being one of Rhonas favourite flowers Alison, Rebecca, Pauline and myself with help from Katie, Shaun, Annie, Callum and Angus will raise funds as The Poppy Family as a tribute to Rhona.

Any donation no matter how small will be greatly appreciated
