THE RAF WAY ROUND · 1 February 2014

The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF’s longest-standing charity, dedicated to supporting serving and former RAF personnel, and their families. Our promise is simple: One day’s service, a lifetime of support. Help us continue to be there for the RAF Family by supporting us today.

Story

4 MOD servicemen, 4 bikes, 3 countries, 39 military stations,  3000 miles and a week to do it in. This is THE RAF WAY ROUND!

In September 2014, 4 MOD servicemen based at RAF Lossiemouth in Moray, Scotland, will be taking part in a long distance motorcycle charity ride, visiting a total of 39 current and former RAF stations within England, Scotland and Wales, covering an estimated total distance of 3000 miles within 7 days or less.

Our team consists of 4 riders. FS Mark Ratcliffe, Cpl David Thorne and SAC Jack Yardley and Mr Andy Reed.  All based at RAF Lossiemouth.

We are fundraising for our Service's charity, the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. The RAFBF is the Royal Air Force's leading welfare charity, providing a spectrum of care; supporting all serving and former members of the RAF as well as their partners and dependant children. They are an independant charity and receive no Government funding.

We would like to say a special thank you to all our sponsors for their great support. Windswept Brewing, BikingDirect.com (North East Motorcycles), Shirlaws Motorcycles Aberdeen, Tutoro Chain Oilers, TSG Marine, Ecosse Motorcycles Aberdeen, Regency Oils Buckie, The Grumpy Biker and Bike HUD
