•We are a team of Palliative Care nursing from Hillingdon. •In Hillingdon we are looking at having an Information Centre for Patients and Relatives to access, this is clearly going to take a lot of money to build and so although Macmillan have said they will fund this vital project we want to raise money for this amazing charity to say thank you. •Imagine this. The Sahara desert stretched out at your feet. The snow-capped Atlas Mountains of Morocco in the distance to the north. The breathtaking views and panoramic sunsets are not a mirage. •The challenge of Macmillan's 100km trek through one of the most extreme landscapes on earth is not for the fainthearted. The landscape varies from a stony flat expanse to perfect wind blown sand dunes that climb to 500m in height, broken only by the occasional oasis. The feelings of space and solitude are awesome. •Please access our just giving website on justgiving/theraragirls. • or phone us on 01895279401 and speak to Fiona Hamer to request more information. •If you would like to raise money for us please contact the above number for some ideas of how to do this.
