We are a new band formed in the middle of lockdown, with a desire to put smiles on people's faces as well as raise a load of money to help our patients. Everyone has been through a tough time, none more so than those patients and their families who have needed hospital treatments but have been separated from their loved ones. We therefore aim to raise money to help us buy iPads with portable phones, speakers and other adaptions to help our patients chat to their families more easily. Our wonderful speech and language therapists know of many ways to help this but are limited by the basic resources we have at the moment. Please help us to help our patients feel closer to their loved ones during this difficult time of the pandemic.

We'd like to introduce you to the band. We are all healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, therapists) and we all work in rehabilitation. We have the privilege of helping people getting better and finding new ways to do things after serious injury and illness and most recently also after severe Covid-19.

Band Members:

Piera Santullo, band leader and guitar. She has been an inspiration to us all. She is renowned for her brilliant guitar skills, her amazing cacti collection and her love of pizza

Phoebe Owen, maestro and keyboards. She is the boss when it comes to music and guides us all through the music when we got lost! She has the best scrubs at work (although we wonder if they are pyjamas).

Sam Critchley, guitar; Amal Yusof, cajon; Louise Elphick, harmonica & vocals; Kate Johnson, music sticks & vocals; Vina Tesorero, vocals; Clare Donnellan, trombone; Sarah Davies, sound engineer.

Some of us have been playing our instruments for years but a number of us are brand new to our instruments or have not played for decades!! We are full of enthusiasm and desire to make a change for good. We have big dreams - to raise lots of money.... and to perform with Pharrell Williams. Please help us 😊
