Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My 13 year old daughter, Melissa is one of only 2 children diagnosed in Northern ireland with MS. She wants a cure by the age of 35. The more money that goes into research the better chances of that happening. To date I have raised £1325 for MS Society and £675 for MRI scanner appeal in Childrens Hospital RVH, Belfast by doing an abseil, holding a coffee morning, helping my cousin organise with her colleagues to do Belfast Marathon, holding a pampered chef evening and holding a pink themed evening.
I cannot take this incurable disease from Melissa, but i will walk on hot coals to raise funds to find the cure she wants!
Facts from MS Society
'Women are twice as likely to develop MS, and in rare cases it affects children.'
'Once diagnosed, MS stays with the person for life'
'There is no cure'
'Northern Ireland has the highest incidence of multiple sclerosis (per head of population) in the world.'
FIREWALK COMPLETED-----IT WAS AMAZING!!!
