Heyaa, thanks for taking some time to visit my JustGiving page.

 

Me and some other students from the University of Gloucestershire will go on a trip to Malawi for 4 weeks, during June.

 

Malawi is one of least developed countries in the world. As one of the poorest countries in the world it has a high rate of infant mortality and low life expectancy. Furthermore there is a high adult prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS. Approximately 250 new people are infected each day.

 

Our aim is to develop the situation there through sport. I will be working with various Church organisations and schools, running and assisting in workshops on various subjects, such as women's rights, physical education, empowerment and sports.

 

The raised money will support the team to deliver the variety of educational workshops and provide facilities for Malawians to gain essential training and education.

 

In order to make the project possible I am asking for your kind donation. Our work is entirely funded by your donation. All money goes towards the project and every penny would make a huge difference!
