Thank you for visiting my SERVE & RYM Philippines Fundraising Page As most of you already know during the summer of 2019 I will be heading over to Cebu, the Philippines to volunteer my time with SERVE to work alongside some of the most oppressed communities in the world. I will join a team of Irish adults, led by experienced leaders, to the Philippines to participate in several sustainable development projects. The project assists poor beneficiaries by offering our skills and time voluntarily, but it also funds specific projects for the benefit of the Badjao tribe in Cebu.Your donation can make a huge impact on those how are challenged by high unemployment, acute corruption, widespread poverty and suffering. SERVE projects reach the most vulnerable, and offer assistance to the weakest and poorest members of society.SERVE has been working in the Philippines since 2003. In 2019, I along with other SERVE volunteers will be provide: 

Educational support and funding for essential educational equipment for the Nano Nagle Care and Learning Centre.

Capacity building of local teachers to boost the educational and literacy performance of young Badjao children

Youth Leadership training programme

Skills exchange and learning with the Redemptorist Youth Ministry in Cebu
