Story

We will be taking part in the 2024 Rugby March, walking 6 miles through Bristol to Ashton Gate ahead of the Bristol Bears v Newcastle Falcons game on Sunday 21st April 2024 to support and fundraise for St Peter's Hospice.

We decided to take on this challenge not only to support St Peter’s Hospice but to mark some significant milestones - my 1 year post Breast Cancer treatment milestone and Mandy’s 5 year post heart attack and cardiac arrest milestone. For both of us walking has been a key aspect of our recoveries and combined with our love of rugby and all things Bristol Bears 🐻 this is the perfect challenge for us!

Our fundraising and support is so vital. St Peter's Hospice give the best care possible within the Hospice itself, with its peaceful surroundings and space for family to stay over, as well as in the comfort of families own homes. Their teams are also dedicated to supporting the emotional wellbeing of patients, those closest to them and the bereaved throughout the most difficult of times.

Any amount that you can spare for this cause would be greatly appreciated. Wish us luck!
