Story

Kev works as a medical social worker with the cardiology team in Crumlin Children's Hospital. Kev has first hand experience with the amazing work the team does. When Rob and Kev first spoke about doing the challenge, they recognised it as a great opportunity to remind people of the great work that the Childrens Medical Research Fund does for hospitals like Crumlin Childrens Hospital.

Rob and Kev are rowing across the Atlantic. They will row nearly 5000km from the Canaries to the Caribbean. In the middle of the Atlantic, they will have five miles of ocean beneath them and be so remote that the closest people to them will likely be astronauts.

About the charity

Children's Health Foundation Crumlin provides urgent funding where it is needed most across CHI at Crumlin and National Children's Research Centre – from funding essential equipment and patient and parental supports to making new services and ground-breaking paediatric research possible.
