As the cost-of-living crisis continues, thousands of people will be turning to The Salvation Army for help this winter. In over 650 communities across the UK, we will be doing all we can for them, whatever their circumstances.

Last year, in Abergavenny, we received a record number of referrals from local partner agencies and were called to support 230 families with food and 443 children with gifts. By providing vouchers to these individuals and families, we enable each person to experience the joy of Christmas for themselves as they choose gifts that their children really want and food for their own Christmas dinner. We give the gift of empowerment as well as our monetary donation.
