The Salvation Army Christmas · 31 December 2023 to 31 January 2024 ·

With the current cost-of-living crisis, thousands of people are expected to turn to The Salvation Army for help this winter. In over 650 communities across the UK, we will be doing all we can for them, whatever their circumstances.

Story

Could you help us make Christmas special for those who may have little or nothing under the tree on Christmas morning?

Last year, in partnership with social services we supported 800 families with toys and food hampers and already we’ve started receiving requests for support ahead of Christmas.

Sadly, we know that this will again be a really tough
Christmas for local families this year as we all continue to face the impact of the current cost of living crisis. So if you can, please help us share some hope this Christmas.

Every year we ask people to donate so that we can purchase new toys, gifts and food for our Christmas Food and Present Appeal so we can distribute them
to families would otherwise struggle at Christmas. This year, we are expecting the number of families requesting help to rise as a result of the cost of living’s impact on already tight family budgets.

Could you therefore make a real difference and give a gift to light up a child's life this Christmas?

May God Bless you and thank you for your support!
