Story

With the current cost-of-living crisis, thousands of people are expected to turn to The Salvation Army for help this winter. In over 650 communities across the UK, we will be doing all we can for them, whatever their circumstances.

The Salvation Army in Whitehaven will once again provide gifts and Christmas food treats for families and individuals referred to us by social workers and other agencies.

Throughout the year we open our doors to welcome in those who are struggling financially or with loneliness, offering a friendly face and a listening ear.

Donations will help us to continue our support to the people of Cumberland at Christmas and throughout the year.
