The sound of a Salvation Army band has become an important element of Christmas - in shopping centres, high streets and supermarkets, together with residential homes, clubs and village greens.

Less visible is the work that goes on every Christmas (and indeed year round), making a difference in the local community.

This Christmas, the Salvation Army in Petersfield (with the support of PACT Foodbank) will, once again, be preparing hampers which are distributed through a range of partner agencies (usually around 130 hampers)
