Story

Hello Everyone and Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

Ok so I've entered the 2013 Edinburgh Marathon (Sunday 26th May)  in support of Myeloma UK.

Myeloma (or Multiple Myeloma) is a type of cancer arising from plasma cells found in bone marrow, and as yet has no known cure. Myeloma UK works with patients and their family's to help them cope following a diagnosis, to improve patient care and to improve and develop new treatments.

This is a charity that is very close to my heart as sadly I lost my father to this cruel illness in September 2009, and therefore a fundraising effort is very much overdue on my part.

As some of you may know I'm slightly partial to a bit of running and have never asked for any sponsors before as I've been saving myself for the big one. This is my first full marathon so please dig deep and help me reach my fundraising target for this truly worthy cause!

Also I promise to regularly update you all with any news (including photos!!!) of my training surely worth the money?

Thanks again and hope to see you all soon!

Sam
