On 28 April the famous Ship Inn's darts team is taking part in a marathon. That's right, while thousands of athletes are running around London, the plucky lads from the Wokingham pub will be be doing their bit as part of a fundraiser organised by the Wokingham Independent Darts League. Four teams will compete to see which can cover their share of the full marathon distance in the shortest time. From the oche to the board and back 2,227 times with only the occasional pause for 'refreshment'.

For a group not always reknowned for their athleticism it should be a test of stamina, and all for a most worthy cause. Please give as generously as you can!
