Raising money and awareness for Primary Immunodeficiencies

Thanks for taking the time to visit the page.
As many of you may or may not know last summer the Peckham palace had a bit of a scare. My dear old friend and housemate Archie got pretty ill (and not just the old boy two-day hangover). After a series of tests, trips and elaborate/scary diagnoses he was eventually diagnosed with Common variable immune deficiency (CVID), which basically means he has very few antibodies. The link below gives your more info and is the site of the charity which supports this condition.

Don't worry Arch is pretty much back to form with monthly infusions of antibodies or minerals as they're fondly known. We all hate to praise the guy....but no one could've handled it as well as Arch. He was annoyingly casual about the whole thing and was actually supporting his friends and family who were finding the whole thing pretty difficult.
All jokes aside this is a serious and pretty rare condition which would affect anyone's life and was a complete shock, but Arch just takes it in his stride and is back to his Masters, his jokey self and an occasional, moderated (or should be) beer. If you can donate money great, if you can share and raise awareness great.
I will be posting pics along the way. Watch me flounder with my training. Challenges and costume suggestions are accepted as long as they are accompanied by money and a share.
Cheers All.
