My Prudential RideLondon 2020 · 16 August 2020 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Having completed our family challenge (to walk the distance between the places we call home in France, Holland and England - a total of 1758km during May) now come the riding challenges.

First up is RideLondon 46 virtual event.  Unfortunately I have had some time away from the bike, so can’t attempt the 100 yet so instead challenging myself to the 46miles !  The 100 will come later....

Every mile will be made even more worthwhile with your support so that we can raise money for Alzheimer’s as we have recently experienced the impact that Alzheimer’s can have on family’s life.

The Alzheimer’s Society is working hard to provide services and support, particularly this year where social isolation is having a huge impact on people living with Dementia.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.  Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
