Borneo Orang-Utan Rescue Trek · 5 November 2010

We end the needless suffering of animals. We influence decision makers to put animals on the global agenda. We help the world see how important animals are to all of us. We inspire people to change animals’ lives for the better. We move the world to protect animals.

Story

Hi, thanks for visiting my page.

WSPA are raising much needed funding to ensure the survival of the critically endangered Orang-Utans in Indonesian Borneo and this Trek is our way of contributing to this critical cause.

As you may have heard or read about the precious rainforests of Borneo are being desecrated as we humans log and then replace with palm trees to make palm oil for sale to retailers around the globe. Much of this practice is illegal and yet it continues.

This is more than just saving one species, important as that is in itself. It is about working together to stop our own species causing irrevocable damage to our own precious planet. We can reverse things if enough of us stand together and take action to make a difference.

On 22 July the Musikscool team combined forces to create an original 5 track CD entitled "Orang- Utan...The disappearing face...?" You too can enjoy the music, and make a difference.
Email d.bell@standingovation.org.uk with your full postal address after you have donated and we'll send you a copy.

Please make a donation, however much you can afford, it ALL makes a difference. Know that you are helping to change these things and thank you in advance for your support and for showing you care.

Many thanks, David XXX
