We’re the only UK charity looking after the nation’s lungs. We offer hope, help and a voice. We fund research to find new treatments and cures. We support people who struggle to breathe to take control of their lives and we campaign for better lung health.

Story

So I am doing the Looney Dook with my friend Cameron Robinson on New Year's Day in the freezing Firth of Forth in memory of my Dad, Robert Craig, who died from a terrible lung disease called Sarcoidosis around New Year in 2004.

The Looney Dook for those of you who don't know is one of Edinburgh's Hogmanay events, you can find out more here http://www.edinburghshogmanay.org/content/The%20Loony%20Dook/1459. It is essentially a swim in the sea, hungover, in the freezing cold. It's a charity event that has been going on for around 25 years.

The bravery required to dook in the sea and the fact the British Lung Foundation is working tirelessly to find a cure for Sarcoidosis, must be well worth a few quid.

Donate here or via text, send DOOK52 and the amount i.e. £5 to 70070

Any amount is welcome and I'll share some pics of the day of Cam and I freezing our nuts off.

Much love,

Steve
