Story
So, what are we doing and why are we doing it?
As some will know, this should have been the third leg of a trilogy, Lisbon we did in 2017, Milan was lost to Covid and part three is Seville.
We are taking on another epic cycling challenge, this time from Glasgow to Seville to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Celtics 2003 UEFA Cup Final run.
We are going to cycle with a group of around 30 cyclists in total, taking on a journey of over 1600 km all the while expecting to climb over 18,000 metres, just over twice the height of Everest.
This time the cycle is in aid of the Celtic FC Foundation. The club was founded in 1888 for charitable purposes, and the Foundation is at the heart of ensuring the club still carries on that work 135 years later.
The work of the Foundation is life changing for many people and they provide vital support for communities in Greater Glasgow, as well as other projects in Scotland, the east end of London and projects beyond these shores.
All the cyclists are paying in full for the trip, so we ensure that all donations received go directly to the work of the Foundation.
We are aware that these are financially challenging times, and so we are especially thankful for any donations that you can give to support us achieve our fund raising target.
