Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.

#TeamAbseil is proud to be part of Running4Refuge: tackling the incredible Avon Gorge Mega Abseil - rappelling 200ft into the Avon Gorge - on Saturday 10th August 2013.

This incredible team are raising funds for Refuge - the national charity against Domestic Abuse. The funds raised will go towards saving lives every day.

Every day Refuge give safety to 2,800 victims of domestic abuse and their children.
