Story
Hi All,
A group of colleagues and friends have decided to take up the National Three Peak Challenge on the 3rd of May 2018. The challenge involves walking up the three highest peaks in Great Britain: Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales within 24 hours.
8 individuals from Thames Water (CFS, Performance, Risk and Optimisation team), 1 individual from GSK and 1 individual from Vysiion have decided to take part in order to raise money for Water Aid. This will definitely provide the strongest of tests of the team’s physical and mental strength and endurance, but in order to help others we are ready to take up this challenge.
We will be undergoing months of preparation and training for this challenge which will involve practice walks and many gym sessions (the treadmill and step machine will be our best friend).
Our aim is to complete this challenge, with heads held high, within 24 hours and with your support, we aim to raise a minimum of £2,000 for charity.
We would like to ask you today to help us achieve our target and make a donation.
The money raised will be donated to Water Aid.
We really appreciate your support and sponsorship!
Kind Regards,
“The Three Peaky Blinders” fundraising team.
