Story
The Tozer Boys Climb Mount Kenya for Hope and Homes for Children
James (16) and Edward (14) will be dragging their father Bruce (50) up Mount Kenya over the New Year to raise funds for Hope and Homes for children.
We have been fortunate to become connected to this wonderful charity over the last year, via friends who have been actively involved with the charity and its amazing team for a number of years.
James was fortunate to do a week of work experience for the charity this summer, with his friend Tom Garvey. He came back fired up and inspired to find a way of making a contribution. Greta (11) started by baking cakes and selling them in the village this autumn. James and Edward decided that the climb of Mount Kenya, which the Tozer family power house Jenny has organised with customary aplomb, should be used as an event to raise funds.
Hope and Homes for Children builds and runs orphanages for some of the world's poorest and most neglected children. It delivers incredible results with professionalism and love and makes a real difference.
We are determined to climb Mount Kenya and are motivated by the thought that when things get hard (especailly for the old boy), knowing that making it to the top will raise money, with your support, for this wonderful charity.
We will add to the site and the boys will write their own piece and add photos shortly.
Any amount will be greatly appreciated, especially as Christmas approaches and economic circumstances are tricky.
