Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page :)
We're back for a fifth year to cycle in memory of a Subsea 7 employee and very keen cyclist Nigel Walsh who competed in many events, L’Etape & le Mount Ventoux. Nigel sadly passed away with prostate cancer and our intentions are to raise awareness and money for the disease and will continue to do every year.
In our fifth year we plan to ride some what of a different terrain.... in essence from Snow to Sea! It was felt to truely cycle the paths Nigel completed we would take ourselves to the Alps - obviously with us being Offshore workers we would finish at the sea..
Our 4day route sees us start in mountains (Bourg-St Maurice), traveling close to ~100miles and a classic col each day to mark the event in proper style! Then with us rolling into Nice and dipping a top into the Mediterranean Sea :)
This is our fifth year and have a strong & keen group of 7 riders to complete the challenge this year!
TWR18 Riders: Edward Hac, Sam Balmford, Adrian Kremer, Marc Wren, Sacha Fulton, David Snowball
