Story
As with many schools ours has been unable to hold the usual fun events that the children look forward to. Thanks to Covid there’s been no Christmas Fair, Summer Fair, school discos. There’s been no birthday parties or even picnics due to social distancing. The children have adapted and we’ve all been amazed by how they’ve just kept going so we’d like to give them a little treat at the end of the school year.
So the PSA are challenging the children AND parents of Holmesdale to take on the 21 for '21 challenge! We’ve been asked to set ourselves a challenge...run 21 miles, bake 21 cakes, read 21 books, anything with the number 21! All before the 21st June! Any money raised will go towards providing end-of-year treats to the children, we'd like to bring them a little joy at the end of a hard school year which lacked the usual fun activities we would normally provide.
Joshua is going to create 21 castles, Matthew is going to do 21 star jumps for 21 days in a row, Kate is going to do a 21km hike. If you have a couple of £s spare we would be grateful for the support! Thank you 😊
