🚲 This summer we are taking part in Europe’s longest charity bike ride, joining Thighs of Steel to ride big distances and raise funds in solidarity with refugees and displaced people.

🥵💦  A hundred or so ordinary humans will ride reallllly far in solidarity with displaced people in the UK and beyond. The 8-week relay works its way through 11 different countries in total, sweating, crying, laughing and sweating again from the historic port of Glasgow to the sun-soaked temples of Athens. The team will collectively ride over 5,400km, climbing a ridiculous 7 Everests in height along the way 

🏔️ We are cycling the Geneva to Milan leg (week 4 of 8), crossing the Alps and riding 580km + a whopping 12,000m of climbing in 6 days!!! Call us crazy… our thighs are jelly just thinking about it so please give generously.

🎗️ The full amount of your donation will be distributed by MASS Action to grassroots projects supporting dignified and sustainable initiatives for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers in Greece and the UK. • 💰💰  £50 covers the costs of running the Khora Asylum Support Team for a day, providing vital, free legal support to asylum seekers in Athens
• 💰 💰 💰  £100 pays the electricity, water and gas bills at the Khora kitchen for a FORTNIGHT
• 💰 💰 💰 💰  £250 covers food supplies needed at the Khora kitchen for a whole MONTH

🌎 The number of people forced to flee conflict, violence, human rights violations and persecution has now crossed the staggering milestone of 100 million for the first time on record. 35% of this group are children. (The Red Cross, 2023)
