On 19th September I'll be embarking upon my biggest, personal challenge event yet - cycling the length of Scotland! 

I will be going the 'Lang Way Doon' taking the 325 mile route over 4 days, from Tongue to Coldstream. It promises to be hugely challenging for me so I'll hope you'll dig deep to honour the sheer pain I'll be putting myself through!

And here's 'the why'. I'm doing it for my charity and social enterprise, Aspire Oxford. We transform over 1,000 lives every year that would otherwise be affected by homelessness, addiction, loneliness, offending and low self-esteem. I'm genuinely excited about the potential of some of our new programmes, including identifying and preventing the vulnerable from becoming homeless before they lose their tenancies; supporting ex-offenders to boost their employment prospects as they leave the prison gate; enabling more elderly people to live independent lives and stay in their homes with supported transport; through to launching an Enterprise Development Programme so that new enterprise can be accessible to anyone and any community with a brilliant idea.
