Story
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Roughly 18 people take their life everyday in the UK.
- CALM offer a free, confidential and anonymous web chat and helpline (0800 58 58 58) from 5pm - midnight every day. Additionally, they provide bereavement support, offer practical and informative information about mental health, and help to destigmitize mental health and suicide, whilst tackling stereotypes around gender.
With nowhere near enough training, we will be milking our daily exercise by running a half marathon in Reading on the 15th of February to raise money for CALM. Just £8 can cover the cost of a life saving call.
Any donations will be massively appreciated! Cheers.
