Brave Hearts Boxing Spring 2019 · 13 April 2019 ·

30 ordinary people doing one extra-ordinary challenge for children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions. With just 8 weeks free training they will step into the ring and box in front of their family and friends.

Story

Two hospice nurses raising money for another.

Me and Andy had the idea of putting me in the ring for my first fight around October. when we heard about the white collar boxing event we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to put my new found boxing skills to the test.

We both work as Staff nurses at the Myton hospices, and couldn't think of a better cause to raise money for another well deserving charity, none more so then Zoe's place.

Zoe's Place Baby hospice provides respite, palliative and end-of-life care for babies and infants with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions. This care is provided in a home from home environment in our hospice based in Coventry. We rely heavily on donations from the public to keep our doors open 24 hours a day without which the hospice couldn't survive.
