UPDATE:

If anyone is wanting to support me, please wait for me to make a new just giving page for Cancer Research UK in the next few days. Many Thanks.

Thank you SO much to everyone who has supported me for this event. With the greatest regret I will unfortunately not be able to participate tomorrow. There have been some unforseen family developments and I have to be home to support my family. I will still be attempting the challenge but it will now be at a later date. Thank you again for all your support.

Hi All!

So for some bizarre reason I have agreed to take part in a 100 mile walk challenge across the entire South Downs Way in under 36 hours. I am doing this to help raise money for The Royal Marines Charity, which is a fantastic organisation that give support to Marines that have been seriously injured whilst abroad, as well as supporting families of those that have lost their lives. The walk itself has been organised by a father who lost his son whilst fighting in Afghanistan. These men really are our heros.

This will be by far the furthest I have ever attempted to walk in one go and as such, I am fairly confident it is going to hurt a lot! Apparently only roughly 40% of those attempting this are likely to finish, so I really will need all the support I can get!

Depending on how the fundraising goes, I would also like to donate to cancer research UK. Unfortunately earlier this year my father was diagnosed and so a big part of me will be walking this for him. If I do reach my initial target then I will create a separate page for this.
