Story
Page for Tom Fairclough, in memory of my beautiful Mum, Jan.
In April 2011 my life changed forever. Mum went to work like she did most mornings but unfortunately collapsed without warning, after suffering what we later found out to be a brain aneurism.
Mum was in a coma for four days on a life support machine at the brilliant Walton Centre. The care and attention she received was incredible and we can't thank them enough. After the dust had settled we decided we really wanted to carry on helping The Walton Centre in any way we could. That's why we have joined forces with them to help reach their target of £1 million for the Home from Home appeal.
You can see a short video here explaining a bit more about our story and about the charity.
