Edit 18/03: I have recently been given the incredible opportunity to work in Chicago for a couple months starting May. Thus, I will not be able to compete in the Manchester Half. 

However, the powers that be are making it damn sure I will run a half marathon on the 22nd May. Chicago Spring Half Marathon takes place on this very day, and I will instead by running this. Thank you for all your donations so far.

I am running the Manchester half Marathon on the 22nd May 2022 which is the week before the anniversary of the death of my stepsister Zoe, from secondary cancer. I am doing the run in her memory and in support of Make 2nds Count. Make 2nds Count is a patient and family focused charity dedicated to giving hope to women and men living with secondary breast cancer.

This is the charity that Zoe, both supported and gained support from during her long battle with secondary cancer. Although she sadly lost this battle in May 2021 she never lost hope and indeed her sense of fun and this was due in no small part to the support she received from Make 2nds Count. Any donation you make will be gratefully received.
