AID (Anglican International Development) transforms lives in Africa for now and eternity. We work with churches and communities in South Sudan, Kenya and Uganda to run projects in microfinance, agriculture, education, health training, Bible teacher training and water, sanitation and hygiene.

I’m running the Endurance Life Northumberland Trail Half Marathon from Craster to Bamburgh on Saturday 26th February. 

I run - but this is gonna be tough!

Anglican International Development is a charity based in Newcastle upon Tyne which supports projects in East Africa focused on microfinance, healthcare training, community-based water, sanitation and hygiene, agriculture and education.

I am running this race to raise money for AID's work alleviating poverty, promoting health and enabling education. Please take this opportunity to support AID - in doing so, you will help:

- midwives to graduate and save mothers' lives in Jonglei, South Sudan;
- business people to access loans in Marsabit, northern Kenya;
- internally displaced people in Gondokoro, South Sudan, to access clean water;
- and more!
