I wanted to do challenge to raise money in memory of my Dad. He suffered Prostate cancer, as do thousands of men in the UK. I was undecided between a few challenges, & so not to discriminate I'm going for a triple whammy. 1. Mountain Bike the Pennine Bridleway - 200 miles of fairly unforgiving terrain. My Dad loved the Pennine Way so this is definately appropriate. 2. Cycle Barnsley to Amsterdam on a designated Prostate Cancer UK ride. 3. Before my hip arthritis finally says no, have a final bash at Toughguy - probably the most brutal obstacle race around.
