I am running the Bath Half Marathon on the 4th March for Cancer Research UK. 

This is a cause very dear to me as my Mum, Veronica, passed away 13 years ago, at just 43 from Cancer. She was a writer, a business woman, a keen netball player, and quite the little socialite. 

She was also smart, funny, beautiful and had a real vibrant energy about her. She is hugely missed by her family and many friends, and this world is missing one hell of a Mum. 

I am running this half marathon in memory of her. 

The work Cancer Research does is invaluable and thanks to them you are twice as likely to survive Cancer today compared to 40 years ago.
