Huntington’s disease Awareness Month May 2020
A Challenge is taking place from 1-31 May 2020
Hi,
We at ADDOR hope you are keeping safe and well. May is normally awareness month for Huntington’s disease charities looking to fund raise to support their charitable work.

Huntington’s disease (HD) is an inherited incurable disease, termed “the cruellest disease known to man”, characterised as “like having cancer and Alzheimer’s together”.
ADDOR, is Charity, involved in the “Fight to Defeat HD” and to help HD sufferers and their families. With the impact of Covid-19, Coronavirus situation many fund raising events have been suspended or stopped along with the provision of services, at a time when vulnerable members of society, including HD sufferers need them most. But you can help.

ADDOR is instigating a May Challenge which will begin on Friday 1 May 2020. This is a challenge for all ages and abilities. Just get thinking of an activity and complete it by 31 May 2020. You can choose to walk, run or cycle, or host online activities with friends. Whatever you can do, you can be part of it to help support ADDOR.

The main thing is getting active, enjoying the experience and donating whatever you can, to help support ADDOR’s work. The only requirement is that you must follow Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.

Once you’re ready, remember to inspire others by sharing photos or videos of your challenge, tag your friends on social media and challenge them to join in too.
