ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon 2018 · 8 April 2018 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Sunday 8 April, we will be running a marathon to get fit and feel smug, but more importantly to raise awareness and money for Alzheimer's Society.

Alzheimer's Society works incredibly hard to improve the lives of those living with dementia. Currently 850,000 people are living with dementia in the UK with numbers expected to surpass 1 million by 2025. Unfortunately there is still no cure for this illness but Alzheimer's Society are heavily invested in pioneering research which seeks to create a world without dementia.

We are all training hard for this marathon.... Olivia and Thomas are forgoing their weekend wine (arghhh) and Ruby is reducing her chicken nugget consumption (so we are told!).

In the next few weeks we will post pain-filled updates but in the meantime please help us in supporting this fantastic charity by donating.

Thank you,

Thomas, Olivia and Ruby

xXx
