I'm back on my bike for the first time in years to raise funds for our industry charity GroceryAid.

Last year GroceryAid spent £5million helping grocery colleagues in need

4,200 colleagues received direct support

1,327 Children were helped with school essentials

416 working carers received grants

Covid-19 created exceptional circumstances affecting both the physical and mental health of colleagues, particularly those who continued to work in customer facing roles despite the increased personal risk. Nobody knows what 2022 has in store, we can only hope things improve. In the meantime with Covid still at large in the community and food and energy price inflation causing huge increases in the cost of living there's no doubt that GroceryAid will be needed as much if not more than before. Please, if you're able to do so dig deep and give as much as you can
