Ride With a Veteran is a Cycling 150 miles over two days from Aylesford to Ypres. The route takes us through the Kent countryside to Dover where we take the Ferry to Calais for the first night. On the second day we continue our journey through France and Belgium, arriving in Ypres at about 5p.m, the following day we will attend the iconic Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate.With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can provide safe, warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability.Please help me to raise much needed funds for this incredible cause.

I probably will the oldest on this adventure, but I'm getting great support from my fellow Irishman, Brendan Touhey MBE. He's knocking me into shape.!  I had a new hip at the end of January this year, so this event has helped no end to get me fit again. Your never too old to face a new challenge!!  You must be mad I hear you say!! Probably!  Once we arrive at Ypres, we will pay tribute to everyone who lost their lives  in WW1, and lay a wreath as a mark of respect.
