Story
I’m running the London marathon for the charity St. Mungos, who provide help to the homeless in all sorts of ways, acknowledging that ending homelessness is about much more than just finding accommodation. Their work ranges from outreach teams to health initiatives that improve access to physical health and mental health care.
I’d love to raise as much money and awareness as possible, which is why I am planning to run the marathon dressed in a sleeping bag. Anybody who knows me well will appreciate I am always very very warm, so sweating 26.2 miles in any additional layers will pose a significant challenge - that said, for too many people the challenges are far beyond that.
Anything you can give will be much appreciated, and if you fancy watching me attempt this please do come down on the day.
