So after about a million failed attempts in the Ballot, the marathon gods were looking down on me for the 2023 ballot - I got a place in the London Marathon - crikey!

I therefore don’t have a specific charity or fund raising goal, but lots of people have asked for a page, and so here we are. I’m going to try and raise some money for the Ostrich Foundation - a Harrogate based charity that deals with suicide in young people. A friend of mine took his own life a few years ago, and it still sticks with me as to just how much of a tragedy it was, it was so preventable and we wish he was still here today. Hopefully the work of the foundation will make sure that other families don’t have to go through such pain and sadness.
