Thomas's Running for Sight Support page

Running for Sight Support · 25 June 2021
The last 16 months have been tough and hard on all us. I have been fortunate like many and although I had lots of events cancelled I was able to carry on my day to day.
Sight Support is more than a charity it’s a life line to so many in the community. Please read some of there amazing stories on there website. https://www.sightsupport.org/
Having spoken to them recently and seen the impact of the last 16 months has had on there services and fundraising it’s been hard and will continue to be so however they will continue to do an amazing job.
My 2020 plans like so many went out the window but I was still able to reach my goal of running over 1000 miles and with your support raise funds for Sight Support.
I have no running goals this year other than to run and do my part to fundraiser and raise awareness of the amazing charity.
For those that don’t know I’m partially sighted with a condition call Nystagmus. I’ve never let it stand in my way and Sight Support is there to do that for others.
I’m back racing and wearing my Sight Support vest proudly.
I’m at Burton Constable tonight and have multiple races entered that I will post updates on.
Please come and support, give me a shout but more importantly if you can spare a few pound please support. As always ever pound you donate will be matched from Halifax Bank.
Thanks as always Tom
