Now let's just look at the facts: Eve, Chris and Shaun will breeze it. It will be tough, there will be moments of 'why am I doing this to my knees' but we will make it. The liability lies in Dad, aka Tel, Tezza, Terry.
After 5 miles on our first, and I should point out, only run Terry stopped. Let's just say he wasn't really enjoying it, or the stitch that was burning and making his face go a very deep colour of purple prevented him from continuing. We didn't hear the end of it for at least 5 days. Needless to say if it wasn't for this little ball of perfection we wouldn't be putting our bodies through the pain. So a bit more about T-bone.
Almost 7 months old Thomas has well and truly changed all our lives forever. For those of you that haven't been lucky enough to meet him, well you shouldn't. You're life will just become obsessed by him and before long you'll be buying wallpaper with his face on, dreaming of him and saying his name constantly in your sleep.
The one unexpected part about Thomas is that he was born with Down Syndrome. A shock at first we all now see this as an added bonus to our new addition. And as one of our lovely cousins said "we will just all have to love him that little bit more."
The Down Syndrome Association is surprisingly small considering 1 in 1000 children are born with Down Syndrome. So if you are able to donate just a few pennies to hear about Terry's torture, Eve's competitiveness and Sean and Chris whipping our backsides then we would really appreciate it.
Oh and Thomas say 'bluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrphhhhh' A special Just giving Raspberry.
