We Drive and fund Medical Research to improve lives of Lowe syndrome families

Story

Running around London dressed like a twat was clearly not enough of an embarrassment. Now I feel the urge to jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet with just a big hankerchief to break the fall. Or to be more accurate I've been co-erced into it (and you KNOW who you are!).

You may already have sponsored me & Lowe's Syndrome Trust but just as a reminder: Lowe Sundrome Trust is a childrens charity which funds research into an as yet incurable disease affecting the brain, eyes, kidneys, bones and muscles often leaving the child with partial or no sight, behavioural issues and - usually - a very short life. These are children who live, laugh and cry....in yours and my neighbourhood.

The money you donate goes straight into research by a team of top medics & scientists who are THAT close to finding a cure for Lowe's Syndrome which means YOU are THAT CLOSE to making it happen. Lorraine Thomas heads a group of ordinary mums, dads, aunts and uncles who work tirelessly to organise events and raise funds.

Please, please take time to look at the website at www.lowetrust.com where you will see details of the condition plus personal messages of support from patrons Jonathan Ross, Rod Stewart & Penny Lancaster, Tony Hadley and others. The money ALL goes to the research and a cure is within sight.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Lowe Syndrome Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donations.
