We're running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 1st Aug to fundraise for the fantastic Princess Alice Hospice in loving memory of Liza Joss who sadly passed away in May following a long battle with pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer. Liza was a special soul, an incredible artist with indestructable faith, a huge heart and a warrior until the end. She was an amazing mum to her daughter Sivan, safta (granny!) to her granddaughters Ariella & Maisie and partner to Tony. She was also a huge source of support and inspiration for her family and her large group of friends.We miss her so much and in her memory, we'd love to raise as much as possible to support the Princess Alice whose nurses and staff were unbelievably kind, supportive and compassionate for which we are extremly grateful. Princess Alice Hospice is a charity providing all patient care and support free of charge. We give outstanding palliative and end of life care to adult patients, and support to their families and friends across a large part of Surrey, south west London and Middlesex. As a leading UK Hospice, learning, teaching and research are also central to our work, and we deliver innovative care programmes to both local and national audiences. Fundraising and community support are crucially important to our continued work as a charity and in supplementing our modest NHS grant.
