Story

The recent floods in Thailand have so far killed 529 people and disrupted millions of lives.

More than 730 out of Thomson Reuters’ 1,650 Bangkok employees have been directly impacted by the floods in Bangkok. Some 445 of this number have seen their homes severely damaged by flood waters of up to 1.5 meters in depth.

Flooding within the Bangkok Metropolitan Areas continues to expand and move towards inner Bangkok, and the number of affected employees is increasing as the water moves into more densely populated areas.

The Bangkok CSR fund, managed and dispersed by employees, on the ground is providing financial support to staff in the region impacted by the flood. All donations made to the fund will be automatically matched by Thomson Reuters.
