We've created a virtual collection because we want to support the Bristol City Centre Hospitals Appeal, and raise money to help University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust deal with the outbreak of COVID-19. Above and Beyond is a charity which 'Thornbury Ukeaholics' are proud to be associated with. Since we began fundraising for them, we have collected well in excess of £10,000. We do this by performing at Gigs and Events in our local area. Any funds raised go directly to Above and Beyond (although occasionally some other local charities may also be supported). Neither do we claim any expenses for our efforts, we just enjoy performing to appreciative audiences with the knowledge that any money raised goes to such a good cause.
