Story
The team at Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice have pledged to walk, run or cycle 508 miles in August to raise funds for the expert palliative and bereavement care they provide.
Why 508 miles? This is the distance from Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, visiting the 6 other Sue Ryder hospices, and back to Thorpe Hall again.
Nurses, fundraisers, doctors, family support, the domestic and kitchen teams, admin, therapists and receptionists will all be getting involved. It'll be a team effort to cover all those miles in just one month!
We'd love to raise £1,008 for our 508 challenge - enough to pay for 48 hours of specialist hospice care. Please help us to reach our target by donating what you can.
Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
